Section One: every home cook should have in their kitchen:

The Cuisinart below is a 14 cup, very durable and will handle any recipe. Highly recommended. We just purchased the Cuisinart Panini maker which is a perfect size and so easy to use and clean.     The Kuhn Rikon peelers are amazing. The are very light with a sharp blade that glides when peeling and doesn't slip. The erogonomic design works in right or left hand. Starting the next row, the greatest and fastest thermometer we ever had, yes a bit pricy but worth it for the speed and accuracy. A Silicone splatter screen so much better than a mesh splatter screen and easier to clean !

Good knives are essential in the kitchen. High quality knives are costly but with proper care will last a lifetime. The basic three to have are: a 6 or 8 inch Chef’s knife which can do most anything ; a 3 or 4 inch paring knife perfect for the delicate work and a serrated bread knife that cuts bread and soft foods without crushing them. Wutshof and J.A. Henckels are two of the best brands with high carbon stainless steel blades. Both featured below along with a knife sharpener and Wutshof's Oak 7 slot drawer holder to protect your knives. ( no loose knives in the drawer )
